Happy belated Valentine's Day! This year, Jonathan and I didn't go crazy on Valentine's Day and do anything big. My Valentine's present is happening next weekend (I'll make a post on that later, but I'll give you a hint...we're going to see a hit Broadway play!)
I decided to make some treats for my classmates, and everyone really loved them. They are probably the easiest things I've ever made, but they are very tasty. The great thing about these treats is that they can be adapted for any holiday (use red and green M&Ms for Christmas, red/white/blue for 4th of July, pastels for Easter, etc.)
Here's what you'll need:
1 bag of bite-sized waffle pretzels (I used Snyder's brand)
1 bag of Hershey's kisses and hugs
Your choice of M&Ms
Line a baking sheet with parchment, and heat oven to 170 degrees F. Set pretzels in rows on the sheet, and top each with an unwrapped kiss or hug. Bake for 4-6 minutes (white chocolate requires less time), until the chocolates feel soft when touched. Remove from oven and press one M&M onto the center of each kiss.
Allow to cool a few minutes, then place in the refrigerator to set for 10-15 minutes.
